Basic Manners Training Classes

My current training classes are held at Regional Animal Care Center in Claremore, Oklahoma at the request of Dr. Jerome Yorke. I have been there since 2000 as a certified trainer, usually doing three separate classes per week.

These Positive Reinforcement classes are held for eight weeks, meeting once per week at 7 p.m. Class size is limited to ten dogs and their families. All the basic obedience commands and the corresponding hand signals are taught, but also so very much more!

Two of the most popular classes feature lots of information on grooming and the very important topic of nutrition.

These classes are very informal and fun, and I greatly appreciate former students who continue to refer friends. Those referrals, plus those from the veterinarians, professional groomers, rescue groups, shelters, and some wonderful stores, keep the classes full. As they say, “Word of mouth is the very best advertising!” The classes are currently $89 for the entire eight weeks of training, payable at the first class. A new set of 8 classes begins approximately once a month.

*All dogs must be current on all vaccinations: Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.

We are not disposable. Please love us for our whole life

- Immanuel Kant

Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound.

Private Lessons

A “Private Lesson” can be arranged for those unable to attend the classes. With an hour session “one-on-one” in the training classroom with your dog, we should be able to address any of your concerns or goals regarding such. You probably will require only one lesson. The fee for an hour Private Lesson is $35.00. Please call or email any questions, or to set up an appointment.
